MEEDEN Korea 72 Color Oil Pastel Set Review: Drawing Disney's Lady and the Tramp & Toy Story

“The way to know life is to love many things.” 🐩🏡✨
I was selected as a supporter of MEEDEN Korea, and this time I got to try their 72-color oil pastel set 🖍️

Oil pastels are what I use most often, and after trying products from many different brands, I’ve realized that even oil pastels can feel very different depending on the brand, especially in texture and color.
MEEDEN Korea’s oil pastels have a very creamy and thick texture, and they also feel quite rich and heavy. They glide on very smoothly, and a lot of pigment comes off even with just one touch.
I personally like using lots of different colors, and I also prefer not to mix them too much, so I usually wipe the pastels with a wet tissue while I’m working. I think people who enjoy landscapes or abstract paintings might find this soft and creamy texture especially easy and fun to use. ☺️
The colors are also more vivid and highly saturated compared to some other brands, so when I wanted a softer or less saturated tone, I mixed in some white to adjust the color.
I’ve always loved the classic atmosphere in old Disney illustrations, so this time I drew the beautiful house I fell in love with from Lady and the Tramp, along with the adorable Lady in front of it 🐩🏡

I’d recommend these to anyone who wants to try a new set of oil pastels 🖍️“You’ll never be outgrown, or neglected.
Never abandoned or forgotten.
No owners mean — no heartbreak!”
Using the same pastels I decided to do a second Toy Story drawing.

Lotso is actually one of my favorite characters!
He’s a villain with a story behind him, and with his soft, cuddly appearance and the fact that he smells like strawberries, somehow I just can’t bring myself to dislike him even though he’s a villain. 🍓🐻
This time, I drew him surrounded by colorful backgrounds and toys.
I used the 72-color oil pastel set that I received as a supporter of MEEDEN Korea. :)
There are so many characters in Toy Story that I can never fit them all into one drawing, but this time I managed to include one of the Aliens too!
Do you have a favorite Toy Story character, or is there a character you haven’t seen in my drawings yet? Let me know ☺️
I’d love to draw them next time!
