Welcome to Brisbane: Tourism Support Hub

While in Brisbane I've had the great pleasure of meeting with Queensland Tourism Support Hub. A great advisory department that helps businesses launch tourism products and services in Queensland.

 

For the first time it was great to present the Welcome to Brisbane: Keowa Koala Dowa Guide to Amanda and Taylor and to get their feedback on it and they recommended a bunch of helpful programs that could help me get the Dowa Guide published and on the shelves.

 

This was the first time I was able to see someone's reaction to my book. It was a really great day. You'll find this scene in Chapter 8: credits of the Dowa Guide. The book cover of Chapter 8 is the crew flying over Brisbane in a hot air balloon, so I decided to draw up a special thank you picture for both of them. I changed the Tourism Support Hub logo into a blue heart though, because they were such warm and caring people, the kind of nice people you hope to meet and often find in Brisbane, Australia.

I can't wait to send them these drawings before I go back to Korea next week.

 

I drew a drawing for Amanda and Taylor. The signature hot air balloon with Keowa Koala, Rocky, Ddasuhan, Tour Guide and each of them inside it. Meeting with them was the first time I could see a local's reaction to the drawings (other than the Guest House manager). I was so happy to see my drawings of the Welcome to Brisbane book series to be well received. It gave me a lot of encouragement to keep drawing. Thank you for everything and all your help,
